Dr. Tim Andrews was raised in Northeast Ohio in the small town of Garrettsville. He has spent his entire life in the same community with his wife and 2 children. Dr. Andrews’ wife is an Internal Medicine Physician practicing within the Total Lifetime Care Center attached to Dr. Andrews’ office. Dr. Tim Andrews carried on the tradition of Optometry at the encouragement of his late father-in-law who practiced for over 30 years
Dr. Timothy A Andrews OD received his bachelors degree in Biology from Kent State University in 1981. He went on to achieve his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Ohio State University in 1985 where he was recognized as Outstanding student in Contact Lenses receiving the Wildermuth Scholarship. He was recognized as one of America’s best Optometrist in 2006. Dr Andrews has been in private practice from 1985 to present. He has special interest in Eye disease management, red eyes and foreign body removal; glaucoma management, cataract, oculoplastics and refractive surgery co-management. While in private practice he went on to design and build the Total Lifetime Care Center, a 28,000 Sq Ft Health and Wellness Center in Garrettsville, Ohio.
When Dr. Andrews isn’t in the practice providing patient care, he enjoys reading investment information in equities and cryptocurrencies, fly fishing, hiking and traveling both in and outside the United States.
